June 24, 2021

(TAP)- Priority national projects were adopted at the first meeting of the High Investment Council held at the Government Palace in Kasbah and chaired by Prime Minister Hichem Mechichi Wednesday.

Several ministers, advisers and members of the Council attended the meeting, said a statement from the Prime Ministry.

These projects, which have been discussed at previous meetings, will mobilise investments worth 613 million dinars (MD) and allow the creation of 10 thousand new jobs.

Government decrees will be issued during the next Cabinet meeting, the statement added.

Mechichi called to review the governance of investments and find a solution to reduce administrative time, overcome obstacles and free private initiative.
