Tunisair express resumes services to Sfax and Tripoli after a 4-year suspension

(TAP)-The Tunisair Express carrier resumed on Sunday its flights to Sfax-Thyna and Tripoli-Mitiga airports, after a 4-year suspension, from Tunis Carthage airport at a rate of 3 flights per week (Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday).

Tunisair Express Managing Director Yosr Chouari said in a statement to the media that the resumption of flights between Tunis-Sfax-Mitiga follows the renovation of the carrier's fleet which has helped resume domestic flights.

She specified that the resumption of these flights will help increase the carrier's profits, affirming that the sustainability of this carrier depends on the respect of the schedules of the services by all the stakeholders in the airports.

For her part, commander of Sfax airport Sonia Gmiha underlined that the resumption of flights between Tunis-Sfax-Tripoli will contribute to the revival of the activities of Sfax airport, Libyan carriers and Tunisair Express, pointing out that Sfax airport is ready to receive 5 thousand passengers a year.
