Tunisie Telecom, e& international sign MoU as part of e& partner networks’ business programme

(TAP) - Tunisie Telecom and e& international signed Monday in Abu Dhabi a memorandum of understanding (MoU) under which the national telecommunications operator will join the e& partner networks' business programme.

The programme is designed to collaborate with telecom-operating companies in regional markets.

Tunisie Telecom said it 'is the first company to join the e& partner networks business programme.' The latter provides the national fixed and mobile operator with unparalleled access to best practices, cutting-edge expertise, and services. Its servicesd will be upgraded.

It will build on the 'the expertise of the Group so as to achieve sustainable growth and deliver a quality customer experience and service solutions.'

The MoU was signed by Mikhail Gerchuk, Chief Executive Officer of e& international, and CEO of Tunisie Telecom Lassâad Ben Dhiab. It defines the framework of this collaboration which will help both parties foster synergies and share valuable resources and support. This will cover sales, supply, wholesale and access to top-notch technology.

Hatem Dowidar, the Group CEO of e& said 'leveraging our position as one of the world's leading telecom providers, we have opened our doors to support telecom-operating companies in regional markets with the e& partner networks programme.'

As part of the MoU, Tunisie Telecom will gain access to a number of services, mainly outsourcing international voice traffic and customer value management services, in additiion to future expansion and investment opportunities.

Ben Dhiab said the programme 'will increase our market power and subscriber base and further stimulate innovation which is out priority.'
