Tunisair: transport revenues up 54% to 317.8 MD in Q4 2022
(TAP) - Tunisair's transport revenues jumped 54% to 317.8 MD during the fourth quarter of 2022, compared to the same period in 2021. For the whole year 2022, these revenues are expected to double to over 1.2 billion dinars, according to the company's activity indicators, published Tuesday on the website of the Tunis Stock Exchange.
The number of passengers carried has increased, also, by 35%, during the 4th quarter of 2022 to reach the level of 531 653 people. Similarly, the load factor has increased by 1.4 points.
The average revenue/hours of charter flights evolved positively, also by 15% (to 19,635 dinars).
Regarding expenses, Tunisair reported an increase in fuel expenses of 116%, and expenses related to airport fees and commercial assistance of 40% in the fourth quarter of 2022.
Moreover, the company announced a decline in debt of 13% following the resumption of credit payments during the year 2022.
