Cabinet Meeting approves national strategy for improving business climate

December 28, 2022

TAP) - A Cabinet Meeting, chaired by Prime Minister Najla Bouden on Tuesday, approved the national strategy to improve the business climate and promote entrepreneurship and investment. It includes a new batch of 160 measures, in addition to the first batch of 27 procedures approved on October 3, 2022.

This national strategy and the reform measures are the results of a joint dialogue, launched in January 2022, between the ministries and public structures concerned, representatives of the private sector and professional structures.

It is part of a reform path and a global vision, aiming to create a business climate conducive and attractive to private entrepreneurship and investment: the main engine of growth, wealth creation and employment opportunities, in light of the limited capacity of the State in the current situation.

It includes more than 100 sectoral measures to develop investment and innovation, as well as 25 horizontal measures to improve the innovation system and encourage start-ups to create projects in various sectors, particularly promising and innovative areas.
