(TAP) - 'Tunisian olive oil and prospects for its export to Japan' was the theme of a forum held Tuesday in Sfax. A Japanese delegation consisting of 10 olive oil suppliers and specialists attended by the forum organized by the organisation 'Zitouna.'

Head of the organisation 'Zitouna', Faouzi Zayani told reporters 'this forum is a major opportunity for Tunisian olive oil producers and exporters the Tunisian model of exporting olive oil by prioritising the export of packaged product.

Zayani told TAP the Japanese delegation visiting Sfax is composed of olive oil tasters and decision makers, noting that the organisation Zitouna is responsible for providing tasting sessions for 12 varieties of Tunisian olive oil.
