TUNISAIR takes delivery of fourth A320neo
(TAP) - The national carrier Tunisair received on Saturday a new A320neo aircraft to strengthen its fleet.
This fourth delivery is part of an acquisition programme to renew the company's fleet, according to its social media page.
Tunisair has already obtained three A320neo aircraft in December 2021, February 2022 and October 2022, and is expected to receive another aircraft in 2023.
The aircraft has a new fully equipped cabin and can accommodate 12 passengers in business class and 138 passengers in economy class.
The A320neo offers wireless internet (W-FI) and a state-of-the-art entertainment system.
Equipped with new generation engines, the aircraft will provide a 20% fuel saving and reduce CO2 emissions compared to the previous generation of Airbus aircraft.
Tunisair's current fleet consists of 29 aircraft, including 22 Airbus and seven Boeing aircraft, according to the company's portal.
