Over 1,000 people provided healthcare services as medical caravan lands in Tataouine-

TAP) – Over 1,000 patients from the North and South Tataouine delegations, Remada and Sammar, benefited, Saturday, from various health services, held by the 'One Day One dream' organisation, in cooperation with the Local Health department.

The caravan, made up of 20 doctors from different specialties, offered 610 consultations at the Tataouine Regional Hospital.

Consultations covered pediatrics, ophthalmological, dermatological diseases, gynecology, as well as pediatric surgery.

11 surgeries were performed on children. The medical caravan at the Local Hospital of Remada made 178 consultations related to cardiovascular and dermatological diseases, as well as 179 consultations were provided in the Healthcare Centre of Smar.

The Local Health Directorate works with the civil society to fill the gap in specialized medicine in the region through several medical caravans held by volunteering physicians.
