UBM: 18th Maghreb Banking Summit November 14-15 in Algiers

(TAP) - The 18th Maghreb Banking Summit on the theme: 'Challenges and Prospects of Banking Activity', will be held on November 14 -15, 2022, in Algiers, on the 16th session of the General Assembly of the Union of Maghreb Banks (UBM).

The summit offers a discussion on most pressing questions related to the challenges of the banking activity through panels focusing in particular, on: 'The New Generation of Banking Platforms', 'Banking, Payments and New Technologies - Trends and Impacts », « The Revolution of Open Banking in the Arab Maghreb Region » and « The Challenges of the Banking and Financial Ecosystem »…

During the event, workshops will also be held on the themes: 'Artificial Intelligence for Banks', 'Cyber-security Practices and Techniques in Banks' and 'Compliance with International Standards in the fight against Money Laundering and Financing of Terrorism,” reads a press release of the Union of Maghreb Banks.

This international event will be attended by a large number of leaders and senior executives of Central Banks, Maghreb banks and financial institutions, business leaders as well as many international partners and experts.
