TAP) - Tunisair express will be the 'Premium Partner' of the 18th Francophonie Summit scheduled for November 19-20 in Djerba, by virtue of a partnership agreement signed by the carrier and the Foreign Investment Promotion Agency (FIPA).

The agreement stipulates that the carrier will transport all the Summit Organising Committee (SOC) members on its Tunis-Djerba-Tunis service, according to a press release issued Thursday by Tunisair Express.

The agreement was signed by Executive Director of Tunisair Express Yosr Chouari and FIPA Acting Executive Director Hatem Essoussi in his capacity as SOC representative.

The carrier aims to step up its flights between the capital and the island in order to meet the demand of the SOC as well as that of the national and international delegations that will be visiting Djerba during the Summit period, adds the same source.

During the signing ceremony of the agreement, Yosr Chouari pointed out that all the carrier's resources will be deployed under a strategy devised on the occasion, which provides for the scheduling of additional flights.

The goal is to help passengers travel to Djerba with a maximum of flexibility in terms of schedules, Chouari said.
