Sousse: 360 tourists welcomed at commercial port

(TAP) - The commercial port of Sousse has welcomed, Thursday, 360 tourists of different European nationalities who came aboard the US cruise ship 'Silver Wind'.

The group was welcomed in a ceremonial atmosphere in the presence of executives of the Regional Commissariat of Tourism in Sousse, said Regional Commissioner of Tourism in Sousse, Taoufik Gaied.

These tourists will visit the ancient city of Sousse, the archaeological museum and the Ribat of Sousse before going on an excursion to the cities of Kairouan, El Jem and Monastir, the same source told TAP.

According to the same source, this is the second tourist sea crossing of the city of Sousse during the current season, after the visit made last May 3 by a first group of 75 tourists who went to the region aboard the cruise ship 'MS Island Sky.
