Polish Chamber of Tourism to hold next annual meeting in Tunis

TAP)- The Polish Chamber of Tourism will hold its next annual meeting in Tunisia with the participation of over 180 tour operators and travel agents, the Ministry of Tourism and Handicrafts said.

The announcement was made on the sidelines of a meeting which Minister Mohamed Moez Belhassine had as part of a visit to Poland with Paweł Niewiadomski, the President of the Polish Chamber of Tourism and the European Travel Agents & Tour Operators Association (ECTAA).

Belhassine, who started a working visit to Poland on May 22, held a media availability and discussed ways to increase demand for the Tunisian destination with Polish tour operators.

Emphasis was laid on means to secure the sector's recovery in Tunisia as well as on key international events to which the country will play host, mainly the 18th Summit of La Francophonie in Djerba.

This visit is part of efforts to revive the tourism market in central Europe, the ministry said.
