- A draft presidential decree relating to the adoption of the final reports of the Commission of enquiry and identification of state-owned lands in Tunis (Medina delegation).

Chairing the cabinet meeting, President of the Republic Kais Saied said the draft finance law 2022 has taken into account the constraints, especially since Tunisia faces a heavy legacy that can not be overcome, through bold measures. He ensured the equitable distribution of wealth and combating corruption that undermines public finances and hinders economic growth, according to the statement.

The reforms must be carried out according to the will of the people, he insisted, adding that the texts relating to public finances must promote the achievement of justice and equity, to avoid the negative impact they could have on the poor categories and the majority of the population.

This is a matter of freedom and justice, Saied indicated, stressing that the guarantee of justice requires an independent judiciary.
