September 5, 2021

The ATB bank ended the first half of its fiscal year 2021 with a total operating income of 281.6 MD. After expenses of 151.625 MD, it is an NBI of 129.426 MD that the bank has achieved, almost similar to that of the same period of the year 2020 (132.9 MTD).

This operating result came after more than 32 MD in various allocations to the provisions in improving its balance sheet and 56,7 MDT of wages in rise of a little more than 2 MD, of only 1.259 MD.

The ATB has nevertheless ended the 1st half of 2021 with a profit of 1.660 MD. That profit is however far from the 5.134 MDT of the same period of 2020.

It should be noted that the ATB has continued to finance the country’s economy.

Indeed, the total gross credits granted to its customers, more than 5.9 billion TND, has even slightly exceeded the figure of the same period of the year 2020 and which was 5.7 billion TND.

The ATB also continues to benefit from the confidence of Tunisian depositors, with 5.963 billion TD collected from customers at the end of June 2021, against 5.6 billion TD at the end of June 2020.

The cash and cash equivalents at ATB, reached a positive balance of 387.912 MD on June 30, 2021, against a negative balance of 13.036 MD on June 30, 2020.
