Call for nominations for Tunisia KAIZEN Prize open

(TAP)- A call for nominations for Tunisia KAIZEN Prize is open till next May 31. The prize wil reward businesses operating in industries or related services as announced by the Ministry of Industry, Energy and Mines.

The prize rewards progress and good practices developed by businesses embracing the Japanese concept. In Kaizen, there is need to make sure everyone performs their assigned tasks according to explicitly outlined standards and performs them on a daily basis. Quality control is a big part of the concept.

Over 150 enterprises received support, including technical assistance and training, as part of the Kaizen project launched in Tunisia more than ten years ago.

Nearly fifty Tunisian master trainers working in technical centres were trained to ensure the transfer of know-how to businesses.
