TAP) - The development project of Tunis Marine region and the capital's opening onto the sea took centre stage as Acting Minister of Local Affairs and Environment Kamel Doukh met Monday with a Tunis municipality delegation chaired by Mayor Souad Abderrahim.

This project will cover an area of nearly 7 hectares. The aim is to give the city of Tunis access to the sea.

Doukh underlined the importance of this national project insofar as it will help boost the national economy.
