Partnership agreement to fight illiteracy signed

(TAP)-The National Center for Adult Education, the University of Tunis for Lifelong Learning and the Tunisian-German Friendship Association (AATA), on Monday, signed a partnership agreement to reduce illiteracy especially in rural areas.

The implementation of this agreement is based on a participatory and integrated approach for the gradual eradication of illiteracy in order to develop cognitive skills to consolidate integration into economic, social and cultural life.

It also involves ensuring participation in public life, said a statement from the national centre for adult education.
