COVID-19: Canada imposes mandatory 3-night stay in hotel as from Feb.22

February 16, 2021

(TAP) - Travellers to Montreal should, as of February 22, book, prior to their departure, a three-night stay in a hotel authorised by the Government of Canada, national carrier Tunisair announced Monday.

Tunisian travellers should also request further details from the relevant authorities about the entry conditions to Canada.

The Government of Canada on January 29 announced enhanced testing and quarantine measures in addition to the pre-departure testing requirement already in place.

Unless exempted, all air travellers entering Canada will be required to take a COVID-19 molecular test on arrival, and book a 3-night stay in a hotel to await test results.
