CITET director Hmida Naouali told TAP an 'accredited laboratory' means it has competent staff, a complete infrastructure, in terms of analyses and equipment, as well as fresh chemicals.

Compliance with the 2017 standards is based on the confidentiality and impartiality of the CITET laboratory, which is among the first laboratories to have ensured the transition from compliance with 2007 standards to those of 2017.

'This certificate is obtained for a period of 4 years; each year the laboratory submits to a conformity check by TUNAC.

The validity date of this accreditation certificate will end on September 13, 2024, he said in conclusion.
