UTSS delivers face masks and paramedical supplies to Education Ministry and social and health facilities

TAP) - The Tunisian Union of Social Solidarity (French: UTSS), on Wednesday, started delivering a first batch of reusable face masks, paramedical supplies and social aids worth 8.6 MD to the Education Ministry and several social and health facilities.

Five million masks were delivered to the Education Ministry ahead of their distribution to schools. They were donated by organisations «Tunisiens des deux rives» and «le cœur sur la main» in France.

The programme for the distribution of aid to the Education Ministry included the delivery of a 60 thousand Dinars donation from Germany to the Local Education Directorate in Siliana and 137 bikes for pupils.

The local federations of social solidarity benefited for their part from paramedical supplies and tools consisting of 120 beds, 72 oxygen concentrators, 240 reusable masks, worth 670 thousand dinars. They will be distributed to needy families in all governorates.
