COVID-19: restaurants allowed to stay open until 7 pm as of November 23 (Health Minister)
TAP) - Restaurants will be allowed to stay open until 7 p.m. instead of 4 p.m, as of Monday, November 23, said Health Minister Faouzi Mehdi.
Speaking after a meeting of the Scientific Committee to fight against the coronavirus (COVID-19) held on Wednesday in Tunis, Mehdi indicated that the technical committee decided to extend the number of working hours of restaurants starting from next Monday.
Regarding coffee shops, Mehdi said the scientific committee believes the country’s current situation does not allow increasing the opening hours for them. Their closing time will be maintained at 4 pm.
The epidemic situation will be evaluated next week with the possibility of updating some measures for the remaining sectors.
