September 27, 2020

(TAP) – National flag carrier Tunisair said Friday a series of new specific measures will be activated shortly, namely as soon as Tunisia's borders with Algeria and Libya open.

The move is in accordance with the directives of the Tunisian authorities and as part of the updating of the classification of countries of travelers to Tunisia, based on the level of risk related to the new coronavirus.

With regard to France, Italy and Malta, the measures currently in force will continue to be implemented, Tunisair said in a statement.

Travellers arriving from these countries will have to present a negative RT-PCR test and undergo self-isolation for a period of between 7 and 14 days, depending on the case, while tightening the control operations carried out by the bodies concerned.

Moreover, the health protocols for organised trips remain in force.
